Introducing Stoneham Youth Hockey's New Learn-to-Skate by Fun & Games Program Mike Cheever "Grow Hockey" Grant Youth Hockey receives funds for “Learn-to-Skate” On March 15, 2008, Massachusetts Hockey in cooperation with the Boston Bruins and the New England Sports Network awarded Stoneham Youth Hockey a Mike Cheever, "Grow Hockey" grant. The $4,000 grant was given to Stoneham Youth Hockey for a proposal submitted by Jim Maimone, Mass Hockey District 10 Director and Tom Barry, Vice President of Stoneham Youth Hockey. The grant will be used to transform Stoneham's Learn-to-Skate program with a totally new approach to teaching beginners the fine art of skating. Click HERE for complete article.
