HOCKEY FAQ's
Q: Where do
I go for help?
A: Download the instructions here. This will
guide you through the process. (instructions not
posted yet)
Remember to EMAIL YOUR CONFIRMATION PAGE to the
Program Registrar, per the instructions in STEP
9 of the guide.
Q: What
happens if I don't do this?
A: Failure to comply will result in the player
or coach not being allowed on the Ice for their
first practice and until the registration is
complete.
Q: When is
this due?
A: The Deadline for completion is Aug 1st
2010. However, we encourage you to complete
this process as soon as possible, as we have
over 300 individual memberships to process.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Q: What are the fees associated with this?
A: The fees are as follows:
USA Hockey Fees: $30 registration fee for
players and coaches (Fees are waived for players
6 yrs old or younger as of 1/1/2010).
Mass Hockey Fees: $5 registration fee for
players. $0 for coaches
Q: I am unable to pay via Credit Card. What
do I do?
A: You may use any bank issued Debit Card to
complete your registration. SYH cannot complete
this process for you, and will not accept any
personal checks or Money Orders.
Q: Do I have to pay fees separately to Mass
Hockey in addition to USA Hockey?
A: No. Your Mass Hockey Registration Fees are
your "Affiliate Fees", and are included in your
registration totals when you complete the
on-line registration.
Q: USA
Hockey does not collect fees for Children 6 yrs
old or younger. Do I still need to register if
my child is only 6 yrs old?
A: YES. The On-Line Registration process will
calculate the amount due based on your child's
birth date. If your child is 6 or under, you
will not be charged a fee. However, you must
still register, and send your confirmation page
to the Program Registrar.
Q: Do I have to do this for all of my children
separately; regardless of their age and level
they play?
A: Yes. ALL players and Coaches must complete
this process, and must send separate
confirmation pages to the Program Registrar for
each player registered.
Q: Do Coaches need to register also?
A: Yes. Coaches are required to register
separately, and incur the $30 registration fee.
Q: Whom do I send my confirmation to when I'm
done?
A: Please refer to STEP 9 of the instruction
manual, and forward your Email your confirmation
page to the D10 Board Member.
Q: Can I pay once for all my children?
A: Yes. Please refer to the instructions for
details. The on-line registration allows this
functionality.
Q: Can I register a Player AND a Coach in the
same transaction?
A: Yes. Please see the instructions for
details. The on-line registration allows this
functionality.
Q: What if I don't receive my confirmation
email page after I complete the process?
A: Please refer to STEP 9 of the Instructions
for how to request a new email be sent to you
once you complete the registration process.
Q: I do not have access to a computer. What
do I do?
A: Your local library can grant you access to
the Internet to complete this process. Other
recommendations are to reach out to neighbors,
friends, or family members who have access to a
computer.
